Black Lion is a ferocious icon of Ethiopian pride. Our carefully-sourced beans offer a journey to a land rich with coffee heritage.
Our coffee is a delicate composition of Sidama and Yergechafe coffee beans, from the mountainous, tropical regions of Ethiopia where they are grown and harvested in the most ideal climates. Our beans are then carefully selected by the local women farmers in the region who have immense knowledge of Ethiopia’s heirloom varietals.
At the roastery, the beans are sundried whole or removed from the seed and washed before being roasted at precise temperatures to produce our; Light, Medium and Dark Roasted Bags.
